After 19 years of employment at the same company, my employment came to an end and I found myself as a job seeker.  Unfortunately, I had not built or maintained a network and had to start from scratch (except for the suppliers I had contact with on a regular basis).
 
Yours was the first seminar I attended and the impact was huge.  Your comments about:
Ensuring the resume was "modern" - no middle initials, no job objective, etc. rather focus on the value you bring to an organization with defined accomplishments (numbers, percentages, etc.)
Don't spend much time on the computer - rather network, doing face-to-face meetings
Don't send resumes to HR rather find the hiring manager
Have a business card

The second part of your presentation on the Power of Positive Attraction was enlightening. 
After only 3 short months as a job seeker, and after meeting so many interesting people who were so generous with their most precious asset, their time, I have accepted a position and start tomorrow (Dec. 14).  As you can imagine, I am thrilled.  
 
Although this is a pretty lengthy e-mail, I wanted so much to convey my appreciation and thanks to you.  I thought you might enjoy knowing you made an impact on me - not only in recommendations on the best methods for finding a new job, but also for sharing the concepts of the law of attraction.
